In the career of Industrial Engineering of Cuba, prepared integral professionals committed to the development of a Sovereign, Independent, Socialist, Democratic, Prosperous and Sustainable nation and have the function of diagnosing, designing, operating, controlling and improving production processes and services throughout the value chain with the aim of achieving efficiency, effectiveness and sustainability; considering, with a systemic, integrative and humanist approach, the characteristics and interrelationships between materials, human resources, knowledge and information, financial, energy and equipment, and preserving the environment.

Diagnose, plan, design, operate, control, improve lead, communicate and train.

Fields of action

The value chain in production and service processes.

Areas of action:

    - The coordination of materials, human resources, equipment, knowledge, information, financial, energy, and the environment in order to obtain efficiency, effectiveness and sustainable development in production processes and services.

    - The training of Industrial Engineering professionals with the aim of guaranteeing the continuous delivery of graduates to society, with the required quality levels.
